Occasionally, due to stormy weather and the like, the Erub  may require repair. Although uncommon, as with any Erub, there is still a possibility that a necessary repair may not be completed before Shabbat.

It is for this reason that the great Rabbis who have endorsed our Erub have urged us to be aware of the status of the Erub and to confirm its standing each week.

In order to follow the instruction of our leaders we have set us a mailing list with automatic notification of the Erub status each and every Friday afternoon.
